I am about to embark on the next step of my journey, listening to the guidance from spirit about the direction of my calling. Today, I start my training to be an End of Life Doula with @livingwelldyingwell 🖤

This will undoubtedly offer me a space of deep introspection, and I’ll be respecting the process by actively turning and tuning inward. I am unsure what may arise whilst also trepidatious about the things that may. I am entering a realm of something that is not spoken about openly or comfortably by so many in our society. I may feel like sharing as I journey through these teachings, or I may keep my ponderings between me and my journal as I honour the container of death that’s being opened to me.

With the threshold to winter approaching, this year I am ushering it in well before it’s due. Winter is the time to go within, to retreat from the cold into the hearth and honour the stillness. This season will require more than the usual dose of contemplation and reflection from me, so I endeavour to nourish myself in all the ways I can as Autumn draws to a close.
