Honoring the Mother: A Heart-Centered Sound Healing

Motherhood is not one thing. It is the woman who gave you life - who carried you, shaped you, and offered you the particular gifts only she could give: her vision, her steadiness, her way of truly listening. It is the women who gathered around her, showing up in a thousand different ways - a job lead, a meal, a hug that arrived at exactly the right moment. And it is the love you pour into your own children, and all that you carry quietly on their behalf. In this sound healing, we gather in community to honor all of it. Through vocals and EarthTones crystal bowls, Paitra will guide us through a practice of deep gratitude and gentle release - celebrating the women who shaped us while creating space to set down what we have been carrying, so that we may offer our children the fullest version of ourselves. This session holds space for mothers, daughters, and anyone who has been mothered or has mothered in any form. Come ready to receive, to remember, and to be held by sound and by community. Paitra Houts is a graduate of the Ceremony of Sound training, through which she found her home in her voice, weaving vocals and EarthTones crystal bowls to help people reconnect with their inner wisdom. She founded Bay Area Sound Healing to offer people a space to release what is no longer theirs, reclaim what always has been, and walk forward in alignment with their highest self. Paitra has a gift for finding the connective tissue between our lived experiences and what is most deeply true.
