Resettling Syrian Refugees: Connecting conversations between Glasgow and South Australia

Thu 29 June 2017 09:00 – 10:30 BST Free Event Thursday 29th June, 9.00 - 10.30am Lecture Theatre A, Boyd Orr Building, University of Glasgow The event will provide a virtual link-up between Glasgow and Adelaide, South Australia to facilitate an international conversation about the challenges and opportunities for resettlement of refugees from Syria. In the past two years over 1000 Syrian refugees have been resettled in both Scotland and South Australia. This virtual conversation will provide opportunities for refugee resettlement service providers, community members and researchers to learn from the similarities and differences in resettlement experiences across two locations. This event is part of Refugee Festival Scotland. Everyone is welcome.
