He is the founder of philosophical Taoism and known as the reputed author of Tao Te Ching, which influenced many school of thoughts such as Confucianism and Buddhism. Some say these quotes cannot be attributed to Lao Tzu, but no matter, as they are wise in their meaning and can lend towards positive growth.
