He completed two three-year retreats, trained under many revered teachers, and received profound instructions in Mahamudra, Dzogchen, and the Six Yogas of Naropa. Drupon Rinpoche completed two long retreats high in the Himalayan mountains of sacred Lapchi where the beloved historical saint of Tibet, Milarepa, meditated. Rinpoche was requested by the head of the Drikung lineage to teach meditation in the West, and is deeply respected for his humility, compassion, and profound realization. Ven. Drupon Rinpoche is the spiritual director of Chicago Ratna Shri and the 3 year retreat master of the Garchen Buddhist Institute in Arizona.
