Radhe Krishna Temple, Romford Visit

The Hindu Welfare Association was founded in January 2005 with a view to provide a Theosophical and Philosophical Cultural Centre, based on the Hindu Culture. The goal of the association is to promote peace and harmony within the multicultural community in the local and surrounding areas. This was required as there is no such facility available in the vicinity. Since 2008 improvements have been carried out on the building from donations received along with grants to facilitate Worshiping, Puja and Bhajan/Kirtan. The temple has objectives to advance the education of the public in the Havering area in the tradition of the Hindu Religion, including yoga, the Hindi language and Hindu festivals by the establishment and operation of a Hindu Cultural Centre. The provision, in the interests of social welfare, of facilities within the Havering area for recreation or other leisure time occupation among members of the Hindu Community with the object of improving their conditions of life. Many events happen on a monthly basis at the temple such as: • Every Sunday Mata Ki Chowki 6 to 7:30pm followed by Mahaparsaad • Every second Saturday Hanuman Chalisa path 6 to 7:30 pm • First Tuesday of every month 11 am to 1:00 pm Ramayan Path followed by Mahaparsaad • Third Tuesday of every month 11 am to 1:00 pm Shri Madhbhagwat Geeta Path. • Every month children’s programs one in the month There will be a temple visit by Sai9healing led by Ravinder Bhamber on Saturday, 17th December 2022. This will be a guided visit and a guide will be available to take the group around the temple. Charges for the visit include £18.00 plus transport expenses (TBC).
