Heal Your Spine with Kundalini Yoga

As well as being the supportive backbone to our physical self, the spine forms a vital connection between the mind and the body, the metaphysical with the physical. It contains a sacred fluid, known as Ojas, that nourishes us on the physical and spiritual levels. The spine is also the central channel, the Sushumna, through which the kundalini energy rises from its seat in the base chakra, the muladhara, to the 10th gate, the sahasrara, at the crown of the head. This workshop works on the spine to clear this path, bringing flexibility and strength, removing obstacles and blocks from this sacred channel. We will also be bringing into balance and equilibrium the Ida and Pingala, the principal nadis or nerve channels running alongside the spine. This balance is reflected in our life with a greater sense of stability and balance in how we approach our life experience. This workshop is for all, beginners and seasoned yogis. While some of the postures and movements may challenge you, they are always worth your best efforts and alternatives will be provided for those in need. There are chairs available for those who struggle to sit on the floor/ yoga mat for extended times

College of Psychic Studies
HOST:
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
