We all have core stories that define us, and often our lives. Quite often these stories arise out of some kind of wounding or painful experiences in the past, which then go on to control and dictate our present and future.
They act as a kind of 'spell', unconsciously directing the course of our actions and influencing our experiences, until it becomes difficult to perceive reality beyond them.
Shamanic healing offers us the chance to move beyond these spells and the patterns of behaviour they induce, some which may have been passed down through our ancestral line.
In this talk we will explore how these stories can be created, the energies they may contain, what is needed to counteract them to bring healing and restore power. We will also look at cultural and society wide stories, that limit and define the societies we create and powerfully influence the people within them.
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
