Gong Camp 2017 2pm Friday 7th July - 2pm Sunday 9th July Gong camp is an environmentally conscious, sound therapy weekend retreat, held in the middle of 100 acres of steep sided semi wild Devon countryside. It's for gong practitioners, gong enthusiasts, sound therapists and anyone interested in the gong, sound therapy, yoga, tai chi or dance to come together for a weekend of sound and movement related activities. Wholesome and nutritious vegetarian/vegan meals are included during the weekend, this is real food and is mostly organic, and some special diets can be catered for if requested at time of booking. Coombe Farm, where the gong camp is set, offers peaceful, traditional, back to nature, off grid camping in the beautiful Mid Devon countryside. This is eco camping amongst 100 acres of fields, woodlands, camping terraces, walking tracks and a small acreage of nettles grown to make leafcurd. Wildlife abounds with the land supporting both creatures of the forest such as deer, badgers, and foxes, and birds of prey including owls, buzzards, and ravens. During the three days there will be:- a freestyle drum circle around the camp fire Friday evening entertainment an all night out door gong bath (12 hour long) a variety of workshops - sound therapy, yoga, dance, tai chi and gong baths A guided tour around Coombe Farm is also scheduled for those who are intrigued about leafcurd.
