Community members are warmly invited to attend this engaging and educational event. Pastor Jim Kniseley will lead a live interview with "Mr. Jefferson," exploring topics such as religious life in early America, Jefferson's personal beliefs, and his role in authoring the landmark Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom. The conversation offers a rare opportunity to experience these foundational ideas through the voice and perspective of one of America's most influential figures. Hebron Lutheran Church holds a distinguished place in American history. Founded in 1717, it is recognized as the oldest Lutheran congregation in the United States still worshiping in its original structure, dating to 1740. The church is also home to the historic Tannenberg Pipe Organ, installed in 1802, adding to the authenticity and richness of the setting. "This event offers a meaningful way to connect our community with the ideas and history that shaped our nation," said Pastor Kniseley. "We are honored to host such a thoughtful and engaging portrayal of Thomas Jefferson in a place that has witnessed centuries of American history."
