4 WEEK ONLINE BEGINNERS MEDITATION COURSE

Do your thoughts and worries get the better of you? Do you often feel overwhelmed with negative thoughts and emotions? If so, learning to meditate can greatly improve your wellbeing! Anyone can learn to meditate - you just need to find the right technique for you. Regular practice can help train the mind to become more focused so that you are more in control of your thoughts and emotions rather than letting them control you. With a wide range of physical, mental and emotional benefits, you can develop a greater sense of peace, calm and stability in an unsettling world. Each weekly class will include a relaxation technique, a guided meditation and a different meditation technique for you to see which style suits you best. During the course I will also be explaining different aspects of meditation theory such as what meditation is and isn't, dealing with distracting thoughts and emotions which may arise, overcoming resistance and the importance of regular practice. The course will begin on Tues 12th May and run for 4 Tuesdays ending on Tues 2nd June. Time will be 7.30pm - 8.30pm. The cost is £20 for the whole course or £6 for individual classes. Payment can be made via Paypal, bank transfer or cheque. If you miss a class, I will be able to record the classes so I can send you the link to watch it in your own time or send you course notes. This course will take place in Zoom so you will need to download the Zoom Video Conferencing app first.
