The Cunning Folk’s Apprenticeship

A special opportunity to learn about the magic of the old ways with Edwin Courtenay. He will teach about the ancient wisdom of the Cunning Folk, the wise village seers, healers and spell casters who populated the British Isles from the 15th century onwards. We will chart their mystical ways and practices and the origins of their magic from Medieval and Celtic England and Ireland to the ancient times of Atlantis and Lemuria. Edwin will present a system of magic that will enable those who attend to create their own Cunning Folks Grimoire or spell book. This apprenticeship will present the old practices of the Cunning Folk in a new and modern light, bringing the rituals and ceremonies up to date so that they are relevant and practical in our modern era. We will focus on: • magical, psychical and spiritual development • the creation of sacred space • working with the ancient elemental spirits of Lemuria - the Envoys, Stone Kind, Fire Drakes and Wonderers • magical healing techniques • magical manifestation techniques • identifying and clearing negative energies and entities • magical signs and symbols of the Cunning Folk • the magic of saints, angels and the old Gods • live trance channellings And much, much more. With the aid of his spiritual teacher and guide, Edwin will initiate and guide those present into the ancient ways of the Cunning Folk, opening their eyes forever to a new way of seeing and living magically in the mundane world.

College of Psychic Studies
HOST:
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
