Honour the Awen - Gong Bath

The Awen is derived from the Welsh, Cornish and Breton language and is a very powerful symbol which in Celtic language means essence, spirit or inspiration, and is an image used and chanted by Druids to invoke and send blessings. The symbol has three rays and there are many interpretations as to their meaning - male, female and the balance between them, or land, sea and sky, or mind, body and spirit. In our beautiful candle-lit hall whilst listening to the resonance of the gongs, let us meditate on the three rays as mind, body and spirit, to bring harmony and unity to us this evening Only 26 places. College of Psychic Studies
HOST:
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
