The Kindness and Spiritual Wisdom of Plants

Climate change, loss of forests and habitats caused by logging, mining, and chemical pollution. Most of us acknowledge these major events are happening and that we are losing plant and animal species and that our rivers, seas and air are being polluted. As ordinary people this can seem overwhelming and beyond our control. We admire the organisations and famous naturalists who are trying to tackle these problems and wonder what we can do to help. This is the time to remind ourselves that our earth is a living and spiritual entity and what we call nature is spirit in physical forms, as we humans are. The plant spirits in all their aspects, trees, grasses, flowers and herbs support us and keep us alive. This is pure unselfish love as they do not need us to survive but we need them. As fellow spirits we are connected and have chosen to share our lives and spiritual path with them and each of us can return this love by reconnecting with the plant world. On this day we will be using our intuition to sense the spirit of herbs and plants with simple exercises and demonstrations. We will work on developing our awareness of plants and trees by meditating with them and journeying to their world. Instead of asking them to help us as we normally do, we will learn to tune in to their needs to help them to survive these times. It is not necessary to be a trained healer or to be psychic to connect with the plant world as we are all innately intuitive and every good thought and intention towards plant life sends a wave of healing throughout nature. This will be a joyous day and will remind us we all have the power to support and protect our natural world. Peggy will bring a selection of fresh and dried herbs and plants for you to see, smell and work with.

College of Psychic Studies
HOST:
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
