Spirit and Medium: CREATING A PERFECT WORKING RELATIONSHIP

SMALL INTENSIVE WORKSHOP Do you have plans to work professionally as a medium, or maybe you already do but would like to learn some skills and techniques to give that extra 'something' to your sittings. This day has been designed for you. In a small, focused, intimate group of no more than 10 people, you will have access to the experience and knowledge of one of our senior tutors and consultant, Gary Wright. As well as specific topics and techniques that he would like to share with you, there will be time for any questions about your mediumship that maybe you don't always have the opportunity or an experienced person to ask. Some of the aspects we will cover include: How to sense a change in the energy of the room as spirit is coming in Tips to ensure your sitter feels empowered and comfortable How to deal with sitters who put up blocks and personal defences Emotions often come to the surface: grief, anger, aggression How to deal effectively and compassionately with the person sitting in front of you Being self-aware: situations which have the potential to trigger a reaction in you The best way to put across information that may be personally difficult to convey How to prevent yourself from becoming too personally involved and giving a personal opinion When nerves affect your sitting: how to recover The day although structured, will have time for you to express what you would like to discuss, learn or share during this supportive and insightful day.

College of Psychic Studies
HOST:
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
