Dreams are one of the most powerful forms of contact with the dead and have been documented for centuries. The dead can visit us in dreams at the time of their transition, soon after they have died, and sometimes after a long time has passed since death. Their visits have different purposes: to ease grief, deliver messages, dispense personal advice and warnings, make requests, and reveal the afterlife.
