Inner Silence Through Movement Meditations

An introductory evening experience into the unique approach to meditation by the enlightened mystic Osho. The evening is presented by Katrin Jonas who is an experienced meditator, having practised for over 20 years and who works frequently as a facilitator at the Osho International Meditation Resort in India. Katrin will talk a little about Osho but the main part of the evening will be to introduce you to a variety of Osho's meditation and awareness techniques especially designed for the contemporary overstimulated mind. These techniques can help you to relax instantly and come into contact with your inner silence. Rather than sitting and contemplating, you will experience how gentle, active or intuitive movement can be used to help you calm down, become centred and quiet. These are simple yet powerful self-help tools which can be easily integrated into your daily life. This evening is suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators alike.

College of Psychic Studies
HOST:
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
