REVELATION - A Lutheran View. Begins Sept. 22nd at 6:30 pm!

"Revelation - A Lutheran View" Coming To Decatur This September! Trinity Lutheran of Decatur (The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod), invites the community to attend a FREE 8-week seminar: "Revelation - A Lutheran View", beginning on Wednesday, September 22nd, from 6:30-8 pm, at The LSA (Lutheran School Association) located at: 2001 E. Mound Road. A Dragon and Demons, the Anti-Christ, one-world government, Christian persecution, Armageddon, the Champion, the Hallelujah Chorus, and a Great Wedding are just a few of the topics in the Book of Revelation. The "End Times" events that will hit ‘The Late Great Planet Earth' before Christ's Second Coming are both scary and fascinating, humbling and hopeful! However, many Christians - including Lutherans - have never opened the Book of Revelation, but have opted to learn their End Times views from Facebook posts and TV preachers, without truly studying the book. If that describes you, then let this be your opportunity to learn the Book of Revelation from a Lutheran perspective. This class will be taught by Rev. Matthew Versemann of Trinity Lutheran Church in Decatur. During this class we will examine "The Apocalypse" of St. John, from a Lutheran view, and we will probe such questions as: - Is Revelation best interpreted from a linear point of view, or a repetitive point of view? - Can we predict the End of the World, and Christ's Second Coming? - Will the church be raptured and avoid the tribulations that occur before Christ's 2nd Coming? - What is the meaning of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and the number "666"? - Is the Anti-Christ for real, and, if so, where does he come from and when does he arise? - What kind of millennial kingdom does Jesus usher in and reign over? - Should Christians be afraid of Judgment Day, or look forward to it? This 8-week seminar is FREE, and open to the public! Dress is casual! This course is aimed at ages High School through Adults. End Date and Time: November 10, 2021 at 8:00 pm
