Run the Race 5K is a Christian Fun Run and Walk designed to facilitate fellowship and promote fitness. The proceeds from this family friendly race will help to support the kidsPACK of Polk County. All participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal, registration goody bag, free raffle entry, free photos, and free samples. One random, lucky runner will receive "Super Swag," a gift worth more than the cost of registration. Runners and walkers of all skill levels and ages are encouraged to participate. This day of fun starts with a lively Christian music and awesome vendors. Then, we have a certified Zumba instructor lead our warmup to get your blood flowing. Right before the race starts, we'll lift up His name is praise and prayer, asking for the strength to give our all. Once the horn sounds, you'll be off to circle the beautifully scenic Lake Hollingsworth. As you sweat, push, and grind your way to that finish line you'll find joyful volunteers keeping you hydrated. And if you start losing steam, glance at one of the many inspirational signs throughout the course; reminding you that you can do all things through Christ! Finally, you'll cross through those archways with your hands raised -for the victory shall be yours! We'll place a cool, custom medal around your neck and snap a picture.
