Fiddlers' Picnic Festival

A weekend scheduled full of events featuring Guest Artist and 2016 North America Fiddlers' Hall of Fame Inductee, Patti Kusturok from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The weekend full of events include: Free workshops, campfire jam, lessons, performances by Patti Kusturok, chapter performances, gospel hour, open mics and much more. FRIDAY, July 26 12:30-5 p.m. Fiddler's Picnic workshops $40 non-members; $30 members 7 p.m. free jam session SATURDAY 9:00 a.m. NYSOTFA Annual meeting 11:00 a.m. Free Lessons: Never Ever lesson in museum Advanced workshop with Patti Kusturok in pavilion Back-up instrument workshop with Jeremy Rusu 12:00 p.m. Gate opens $5 presale, $8 at the gate 12:30-1:30 p.m. Patti Kusturok performance 1:30 p.m. Chapter performances followed by Open Mic 4:30-5:30 p.m. Patti Kusturok performance 7:30 p.m.-Fiddle jam SUNDAY 9:00 a.m. coffee and donuts 10:00 a.m. gospel hour Gate open at 11:30 a.m. $5 presale, $8 at gate 12:00-1:00 p.m. Patti Kusturok performance 1:00-2:30 p.m. Open mic 2:30-4:00 p.m. Induction Ceremony 4:00-5:00 p.m. Patti Kusturok performance All performances are under cover.
