Classes consist of meditation, drama and other activities designed to help the children improve their mindfulness, concentration and attention span, and to raise their awareness of subjects such as kindness, consideration for others and self esteem.
Much of the material is derived from the Buddhist tradition but it is not necessary to be a Buddhist to attend or benefit from these classes.
Suitable for age 4-12.
The classes are supervised at all times by CRB certified staff.
All children attending these classes must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

KMC London is the home of the London Temple for World Peace, a modern Buddhist Temple serving the people of London and the surrounding regions. It is the principal location for the courses, classes, retreats, and family activities organised by the centre. With its magnificent statues, tranquil atmosphere and modern Buddhist bookstore it is a perfect destination for anyone seeking peace, relaxation and inspiration.
Modern Buddhism is a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings for the modern world that shows how Buddha’s advice on wisdom and compassion can benefit anyone in modern society regardless of age, race, gender or faith.
All events at the centre are open to everyone and include practical courses such as how to use meditation to solve our anger problem, which lies at the root of many family problems. This activity is completely peaceful and joyful and is very important as protection against future suffering.
