The gongs are said to have been born at the beginning of the Bronze Age in Mesopotamia an area we now know as the Middle East and widely considered to be one of the cradles of civilisation. Today we use these magnificent instruments to facilitate profound healing and regeneration of ourselves and to spread the healing harmonics out into the world. When used on their own or with other instruments they can initiate healing, regeneration and induce states of heightened consciousness characterised by feelings of timelessness and joy. What to expect from the day: The day will begin with a coming together and a short introduction for those that have never experienced a full day of the gongs and what might occur. There will then be a meditation and sonic clearing to set the space for the day as everyone connects with their higher selves. A thought about the Solstice energies for the day: The Summer Solstice is said to be the day of Kings, a celebration of life through death and rebirth, we have arrived at the peak of the Solar cycle for another year and each day hence forth will be shorter than the last. It is a time to celebrate our outer achievements and life itself and it is also a time to acknowledge the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. A connection to the wisdom within and it is this wisdom that you can connect to on this day should you wish. These days are created with you the participant in mind and the intention you set for the day is your own, I offer suggestions as to where to go but free choice is the guiding light of every experience and if you feel drawn to work on your own process then you would do me a great honour by doing so.
