Clear Your Emotional Body with Kundalini Yoga

We all carry unresolved, difficult emotions that arose at a time when we did not feel ready or equipped or strong enough to deal with them. Often these emotions came up in childhood, and we hid them somewhere in our being where we could not see them and did not have to face them at the time... but they are there. Unaddressed, these difficult emotions can manifest physically in our life as repeating patterns and scenarios that often lead us to rediscover those uncomfortable emotions in different ways. And these can often be painful and can lead to reactionary behaviour. This kundalini yoga workshop seeks to detoxify and shake out those old, petrified emotions. We use movement and meditation to reset and clear out the channels in the body to allow for the free, healthy flow of fresh new energy. We learn how to stay present with whatever we're feeling, no matter how uncomfortable, in order that we don't repress or ignore difficult feelings in the future. Kundalini yoga is for you, no matter what your age, capability or level of flexibility. All you need to practise is an open mind and willing spirit. You may find some of the movements challenging, but always worth your best efforts. Please wear comfy clothes appropriate for movement. We practice on yoga mats on the floor, however chairs will be available for those who find sitting on the floor challenging.

College of Psychic Studies
HOST:
College of Psychic Studies - The College was founded in 1884 by a group of eminent scholars and scientists. Its purpose was to facilitate formal investigation into the psychic and mediumistic phenomena that were such a topic of debate in the Victorian era. With great courage, this group of distinguished people, some notable in science, others from within the ranks of the Anglican clergy, defied the prevailing canons of respectability in order to proclaim to a world of increasing materialism that human personality survives bodily death and that this is capable of demonstration.
